Our online community is designed to be different from other online groups.
We are an online community that brings together Christian ministry leaders with spiritual directors and authors to inspire, educate, and resource one another so that we can enjoy a vibrant spirituality while sustaining faithfulness in ministry.
We position ourselves within a generous Christian orthodoxy that is comfortably hospitable to the broadest scope of the global Church. We welcome Christian ministry leaders and spiritual directors who are seeking to follow the way of Jesus as faithfully as they know how to in their unique faith development journey.

Who is this membership for?
For Ministry Leaders who are seeking to deepen your spiritual life by being invited into conversations with spiritual directors who offer insights into your unique role and vocation.
For Spiritual Directors who are seeking to participate in a curated conversation, bringing your unique contribution to soul care for ministry leaders.
What kinds of content does the online community have?
We are dedicated to building a soul care community for vocational ministry leaders and trained spiritual directors. This can be difficult to convey through words alone, but we want to give you a glimpse of what our community offers.
Original content: We’ve partnered with trusted friends in Christian ministry who have written reflections for our community, focusing on themes from Psalm 23 such as contentment, restoration, guidance, encouragement, reconciliation, and faithfulness. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in online conversations with some of these authors. Additionally, we offer guided prayers and meditations from trained spiritual directors and have a growing archive of recorded webinars focused on soul care.
Soul Care Triage: Right now we know that some of you may be experiencing conflict, crisis, trauma or burnout – or maybe a combination of all of these. We want to connect you with soul care resources and even trained spiritual directors who can assist you in navigating these deep waters.
Spiritual Direction Experiences: We believe spiritual direction is essential for ministry leaders in caring for their souls while shepherding others. You’ll have the opportunity to periodically engage in spiritual direction experiences and be connected with Soul of the Shepherd vetted spiritual directors.

Webinars and Online Events: Take part in online events led by experienced spiritual directors, where you can explore and apply effective soul care practices.

Spiritual Director Space: As spiritual directors, we know that there isn’t always a community just for us. Here we want you to enjoy a dedicated space to connect with other trained spiritual directors, sharing insights and support each other.
