Who Notices When the Shepherd Needs Soul Care?

Friends of Gracebridge (FroGs) is a memorable (albeit a bit “cutesy”) name for a community of people who recognize the connection between the health of the Church and the health of her leaders.

Ministry leaders are increasingly under siege from both internal and external challenges, and they often under-invest in their own soul care needs in pursuit of more tangible organizational objectives. Evidence of the corrosive impact of this situation can be seen in the barrage of news items about ministries derailed when the “care and feeding” of ministry leaders is neglected.

FroGs receive periodic updates (but no spam!) of the progress of the Soul of the Shepherd ministry, as well as some carefully curated material on issues facing vocational ministry leaders and practical ways they can be supported. We aspire to be advocates for a global focus on the soul care needs of the very shepherds that serve the Church.
